Responsible Statecraft is an online magazine of analysis on foreign policy and global affairs, read by policymakers, scholars and the public. At RebelMouse, I led the design of its redesign, with a new logo, new type and a home and article pages organized by topic. The new site went live in September 2023.

I was the UX/UI designer of the redesign at RebelMouse. I designed the new logo and chose the type, and I designed the home and the article page on desktop and mobile, with the navigation by region.

The old home opened with one lead story and a row of small cards. The new one has a column for the crisis of the moment, the lead story in the middle and QiOSK, the quick takes, on the side, under a new logo and a menu with a Regions drop-down. Readers of a foreign policy site come for a topic, so each topic gets its own place on the first screen.
The same story now opens with the photo across the page and a large serif title and summary beside it, with the author and the share buttons right below. Readers come for long analysis, so the page starts calm and the type is set for reading.
