Gable

Overview

Gable is a Seattle startup founded in 2023 by Chad Sanderson and Adrian Kreuziger. Sanderson is the co-author of the O'Reilly book Data Contracts. Gable's platform manages data contracts, agreements between the software engineers who produce data and the data teams who use it, so a change in the code does not break the analytics and machine learning models built on top of it. Gable raised a $7 million seed round and, in March 2025, a $20 million Series A, with the venture arms of Databricks and Capital One among the investors.

I worked on gable.ai for Vital Velociti, a US company that hired me on Upwork, from February 2025 to September 2026, in three stages: fixes and edits on the old site, the build of the 2025 redesign made by the design agency Ramotion, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) after launch.

My Role

As the Webflow developer, I turned the Ramotion design into the new gable.ai, page by page, and set up the blog on the Webflow CMS.

After launch, I stayed on to get more visitors to join the waitlist and download the book. I analyzed the conversions, built landing pages for Gable and connected the forms to HubSpot, the CRM, so each answer lands in the right field of the contact record.

Key Contributions

  • Redesign Built Page by Page. The home, About, Careers, the blog, the article layout and the book page, built in Webflow from the Ramotion Figma files, for desktop and mobile.
  • O'Reilly Book Page. A landing page to download Data Contracts, the O'Reilly book by Chad Sanderson and Mark Freeman, with a short form for name and work email.
  • Blog on the CMS. One Webflow collection and one layout for every article, so the Gable team kept publishing after launch.
  • HubSpot Integration. The forms send their data to HubSpot, each answer in the right field of the contact record.
  • Conversion Work. After launch, I analyzed how visitors reached the waitlist and the book download and built dedicated landing pages for Gable.

Impact

Gable's new website went live on Webflow in 2025, and the Gable team kept publishing on it, with 118 posts on the blog by July 2026.

We had multiple contracts with him for different areas of our business and he's been fantastic with all of it. He's a quick learner and completes tasks well.
