Can Arbós has 21 rooms, so the team at the door is the team at breakfast. Before you arrive, we ask how you take your coffee, what you can't eat, and whether you're celebrating anything.
On your first evening, the concierge marks a walking map of Palma by hand. It shows where we eat on our nights off and the hour when the cathedral is quietest.

Aljub, a Mallorcan restaurant under the old vaults
Aljub serves dinner around the house's old cistern, and in the courtyard from May to October. The menu cooks with island produce, like red prawns from Sóller and Mallorcan black pig. Order à la carte or the tasting menu of seven courses. You can view every price and allergen before you book.

It's 6 by 3 metres and 1.4 metres deep. A pergola shades half the deck from noon. Open 9:00 to 20:00, with drinks from the bar until 23:00.

Arriving by taxi or car
Taxis can't turn into our lane. Tell us your arrival time and we'll meet you at the corner with a trolley for the bags. If you drive, our valet takes the car to a garage 400 metres away, for €32 a day.

Up to 40 guests can dine in the courtyard, and up to 30 can watch a ceremony on the roof. Book all 21 rooms and the house is yours. Tell us the date and how many people, and our events team replies within two working days.

Questions before you book
Which rooms get the most light?
The Old Town Rooms, the Junior Suites and everything on the top floor. Courtyard Rooms have one window onto the courtyard and get sun from late morning.
Can a taxi drop us at the door?
No. Our lane is too narrow for cars. Send us your arrival time and we'll meet you at the corner with a trolley. If you drive, our valet parks the car in a garage 400 metres away, for €32 a day.
Is it quiet at night?
Yes. Can Arbós is in La Calatrava, a quieter, residential part of the old town. Rooms face a quiet square or the courtyard.
Do hotel guests get a table at Aljub?
Yes. Hotel guests and members can book 60 days ahead. We also keep two tables each evening for hotel guests who decide on the day.
Can we see the menu and prices before booking?
Yes. The full menu, with prices and the 14 allergens, is on the Aljub page. You can order à la carte or the tasting menu. We cook for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free diets.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival. Booking direct gets you breakfast and a drink on the roof.
Do you accept children?
No. Guests must be 16 or older.
How big is the rooftop pool?
6 by 3 metres and 1.4 metres deep, with shade on half the deck from noon.
Can we check in early or leave late?
Rooms are ready from 15:00 and checkout is at 12:00. If you arrive early, we keep your bags and you can wait on the roof or in the courtyard. Late checkout until 14:00 depends on the next arrival, so ask us the day before.
Do you help with birthdays and anniversaries?
Tell us when you book. We'll ask what you'd like and keep it quiet until the day.
